Just wait Princess

A message from God

“No man will ever claim you unless he claims you from Me. For I reserved a man for you who has My heart and loves Me even more than he loves you. For I won’t give you unless he asks you form Me. He is asleep; don’t wake him. He is busy for Me... My kingdom. Soon you will know him, but I have the perfect time. You are My princess and My daughter. Let no prince claim you unless he asks you from my hand for I am Your Father and King of kings. You, my princess is worth loving for.”

It is better for a princess like you to be asleep a hundred years and be kissed and be awake by the right prince than to stay awake and be kissed hundred times by the wrong frog.

It is better to wait for years for someone you are sure of, than to grab that chance with someone who picks you up but drops you whenever he wants to.

"Place your heart in the hands of God and He will place it in the hands of a man who he believes deserves it."

Good things come to those who wait. Just wait Princess! <3

Light of Jesus

Blessed to share in Miraculous Medal Chapel. Thank you! Praise God! :)

Assigned Date: December 14, 2014
Assigned Verse: John 1:6-8,19-28

Reflection Story:

John was conceived in Elizabeth’s womb though barren at an old age. He was sent by God and to testify that with the Lord nothing is impossible. John the Baptist fulfilled his purpose on earth. He baptized people, spread the good news, prepared the way for Jesus and became a witness to the light. He humbly admitted that he is unworthy and he’s not the source of light which he referred to Jesus, the Messiah.

Let me share to you a story about the little candle’s discovery in knowing its purpose. Once there was a little candle placed in a room together with other candles. The little candle felt very tiny for it has seen several candles – plain, small, tall, glittery, scented, big, multi-colored, wonderfully shaped and expensive.

The sun went down and the room began to get dark. A man came to light the little candle then he started lighting each candle and the room was filled with light. The little candle realized that all the other candles gave out the same light regardless of what they are. Few hours later, the wax started to melt. It was then that the candle realized its purpose, “to give light until it dies”.

We are the different candles who are chosen by God, called to spread the word and be witnesses of Jesus. We were created on earth for a purpose and we should fulfill God’s will/plan in us. Jesus is the source of light. He first taught us to love. He gave his life for the salvation of our sins. He is the light that brought faith, hope, peace and love to all of us. He is the match/lighter that ignites the fire in our hearts. Apart from Him, we are lost, we are nothing and we are not capable. With Him, all things are made possible. Let’s continue to give and spread the light of Jesus.

11 days to go before Christmas! Am I excited? Is my heart ready to welcome Jesus and allow Him to light my path? Will I allow myself to be a witness to the light and live my life in accordance to God’s plan? Am I ready for the challenges that await me if I choose to follow Christ no matter how difficult it may seem? Am I ready to become an Alter Christus (alternate Christ) to my neighbors?

If the answer is Yes then be excited for the Savior is coming. Strengthen your faith, pray more and be ready since greater things are yet come. If the answer is No/Maybe then you still have time to prepare yourself for the birth of Jesus. Open your heart and allow the Spirit to teach, equip and lead you to the right path.

SOLI DEO GLORIA! :)

Status: Single but not Alone

I have been an advocate of true love waits ever since I started in the community last 2005. I believe that we should not rush to be in a relationship because God has a plan to fulfill in us first before He can give that one person He has prepared for us before we were born. I waited until I was 17 before I can actually have a relationship but it only lasted for 3 months. I knew that I just wanted to know what it felt like but I guess I wasn't ready for the commitment and I needed to focus in my studies first. I know it's easier said than done and I have struggled much being on my own. I was jealous to others who had but I have found comfort, assurance and hope for the times I was lonely, doubting, worried and I have sought support from God and my loved ones.

My second relationship was with a YFC brother whom I served with since 2007. Of course we waited for a while and once I became a registered nurse, our love story began. We were partners in crime, service comrade, mission buddy, prayer partner, camera fanatic and we'd always have our food trip adventures. It ended when I left the country to work in the UAE. I admit it was my fault back then and it took us nearly 2 years to have a formal closure. It was settled when I went home last July 2013. We then became friends but it was a process we had to go through. Months passed and we were talking like nothing happened. Now we are like siblings again, a work in progress, no longer in YFC but in SFC and I am happy that even an Ex can become your friend.

Being single is a blessing in a disguise. Yes, my status is single, blessed, hopefully and patiently waiting for my God's greatest and gorgeous gift (4G) to come. I have been single for 3 years now and never in my life was I alone. Well there were trying times and even situations that I wanted to jump right in a relationship just so I can change my status. I had struggled with emotional crisis that sometimes I didn't understood why. I admit that I feel pressured not just from what I see, hear and perceive. Society can sometimes be rude, judgmental and trivial regarding the relationship status especially when age is concerned. Also, my heart longs and seeks for the presence of someone. I guess everybody needs love and to be loved back. I miss the feeling of someone loving and caring for me yet I know I have to endure the waiting process. I'm in the stage of my life wherein it's a battle against "Intimacy vs. Isolation" as per Erikson's stages of Psychosocial development.

FB status last May 25, 2013
I remembered this post of mine last year......
"....God has wonderfully surrounded me with family and friends that loves and cares for me so much. I feel blessed to have them. And I know in His time, He will bless me with a great love story specially designed and planned for me. I am excited when that time will come and I know that I am being prepared for that. For now, I will patiently wait, hoping for the best, trusting His will, loving and serving Him ever more and giving all the best of me for His great glory.. Thank you for this realization Lord. Praise God. "  (Single but never alone)

Experiences are the best teacher. I have learned more and I have gone out of my comfort zone, have mended my broken heart and is getting ready for whatever lies ahead. I know I have crazy dreams once in a while wherein I dream of my crush/someone and it has been one of my simple joys. I know I am 25 and having a crush on someone feels like I'm in high school with all the butterflies in my stomach, crazy imaginations and the happy blushing expression I have once I am talking about or thinking of Him. Of course I am a work in progress, nearly maturing, a kid at heart and a beloved daughter of God. I have desires, fantasies, goals and crazy dreams too. One of it would be desiring to be in a relationship with someone with the hope of being married in the future. In God's time, crazy and impossible it seems but whatever your will Lord, may it be done.

Years have passed and a lot has changed yet still single but never alone who's joyfully waiting, always praying, faithfully hoping and positively claiming the 4G from God.

MEC 2013 WORKSHOP: A WALK TO REMEMBER

Patiently and joyfully waiting for God's plan to unfold in our lives
How to practically enjoy your present state of life and realize the beauty in every moment.

What is the difference between Love and One True Love?
Love is not just a feeling but it is a decision, a commitment and a desire to embrace the flaws and imperfections of someone worth fighting for. Love is a gift shared with everyone while One True Love is a commitment shared to an Only One who you desire to spend your whole life with.

1. Love yourself.
The first step is to accept yourself completely and appreciating the beauty, the talent, the imperfections, the blessings, the being that God has blessed you with. It is hard to love others when you don't know how to love yourself. Love yourself first so that you can love others and in turn be loved back.  Allow yourself to be used for God's glory for He will transform, enhance and make you ready for what lies ahead. God wants you to live a life of chastity. Loving yourself means allowing God to work more in your life and learning to do so means preparing yourself for that someone that He has prepared for you to be with when the right time comes.

2. Love the idea of falling in love.
This step requires letting go of fears, doubts, unwanted baggage, insecurities and failures then letting God's plan unfold in your life. Loving is a gift from God and we are called to love not just the lovable ones but also the unlovable beings. Loving the idea of falling in love is giving your heart and soul to someone. God wants us to set aside our fears so that we can freely live our life and be excited to fall in love!

3. Love God.
Allow yourself to love God before loving someone. For God deserves to be loved, praised and glorified for Power and Majesty! We must love God above all things. We must be one in Him before we can be one with someone else.

4. Love to love.
Sometimes it is hard for us to share our life story with others but with the grace of God then it becomes easy. Opening our own self to others will teach us to be selfless. Love requires action and expressing it well through deeds fulfill its purpose. Allow your own self to love and serve God through others because life becomes full of purpose, meaningful and worth living.

5. Love the life you live.
We must not focus what we lack but on the blessings God has given us everyday. We should learn to be a fulfilled and be happy person. God wants us to appreciate and be grateful for everything that He has blessed us with. He wants us to embrace and love the life that we are living by thanking and glorifying Him with what we have.

For now be still because God is busy preparing you for a love story that you don't expect. Trust His plans because He knows what is best for you. Wait patiently and joyfully for He has someone in stored for you. Guard your heart and get ready. Don't be weary and never worry for it is done says the Lord. Have hope. Keep the faith and fight the good fight for God is with you always!

Activity:
Draw how you see your life in 3 years in a folded half of paper then write a letter to God about your heart's desires.

God (who is love) knows no hopeless or helpless situations

Taken and written at Kish Island, Iran
(February 1, 2014)

God (who is love) knows no hopeless or helpless situations..
There are times we get stuck in a struggle that paralyzes us to do something and perhaps move on. Yes, it's hard to face the struggles with a heavy heart knowing that you're alone and at times hopeless nor helpless. Sometimes we forget that God has been with us through the tough times. We seem to think we can do it our selves but we can't. God is always there and He knows no hopeless or helpless situations. It is because He is God and we are not. His ways are higher and better than ours. His love surpasses all things even impossible ones. He can change our sadness to an irreplaceable joy. He is the God of all great things and the only God of all human beings.

So if you're struggling right now, remember that you are in His presence. No battle that was lost for He always wins. No sorrow that he can't take away. No pain that He can't heal. No problem that He can't solve. And no struggle that He can't overcome. For as long as we hold on to Him, rest assured that we are in good hands for He has great plans. In His presence we can find peace, joy, trust, completeness, love, faith and unending hope. All we can simply do is trust Him even if it doesn't make sense. We should surrender to Him and allow His will to be done for God knows what He is doing and He never fails to work things out for us. Continue to trust and believe in Him because He knows no hopeless or helpless situations. All is well! May God be praised! Deo Gloria! :)

Obey and Witness!

When life knocks you down,
Smile but do not frown.
Surrender to God and continue to love!
Just remember to be obedient,
understanding, loving and be patient.
For God is doing His best,
so that you can become His effective witness!

A simple realization as I was walking on my way home from a blessed meeting..

It was tiring but it's totally worth it! May God be praised! :))))))))))))))

By His Love.

I may have stumbled and fall. I may have made mistakes and things were out of my control. I ran away and isolated myself. I allowed myself to experience dryness and took advantage of my weakness. I avoided talking about my problems and I tried redirecting to other things. I denied my own feelings. I was distracted and find it hard to focus. I forgot my purpose. I was drowned in my emotions. I became lazy. I lost sight of God and His plans for me. I felt empty and longing for someone's presence. I was looking for love that I fail to realize what I had. I was broken and was unable to let go.

God will heal me of my brokenness and
He'll fill my emptiness by His LOVE
.
It was then that I realized that the more I ran away from God, He would still find a way to comfort and make me feel loved. The more I avoided, the more He's leading me to it. The more I didn't want to voice out, the more He's giving chances for me to talk. The more I allowed myself to be lazy, the more He wants me to be busy. The more I dwell on my loss, the more He would assure me that greater things will come. The more that I want to isolate, the more He would find ways for me to be surrounded. The more that I wanted is the less that He would give. The more that I wanted to be alone, the more that He wanted to make me feel I'm home. The more stressed I was, the more He would make me realize how blessed I were. The wrong things I desired were the situations He purposely redirected for my greater good. Now I want to start again and I will slowly stand up. For I know that…. God will heal me of my brokenness and He'll fill my emptiness by His LOVE..

Through His love, He can make impossible things possible. He can change and renew me. He will forgive and give me a chance to grow and be better. He will allow me to witness His greatness and by His love, I will be made whole again till I'm ready to pray, love and serve Him to the best of my abilities. By His grace and in His time, I claim victory in Jesus' name, AMEN!

May God be praised! J

If God gave..

If God gave me a higher paying job than what I have now.. then I would not know how to save and spend money wisely. I would have decided to spend and spend on useless material things. I would have things that I just don't need but even what I want. I may have been selfish and keep it all to myself without the intent of sharing to others especially my family.….. but God gave me a job that's not that high but not that low. It is an average paying job that taught me to budget my money and even share it to my family. God made me realize that I should be thankful because some experience the worst cases regarding there job and even abuse. He entrusted me with little and I believe He will entrust and bless me much when I am capable of handling the responsibility.

If God gave me a part time job.. every week or even twice a month then I would've earned hundreds to a thousand but He didn’t. He didn't give me that because He knows that if I was busy earning money then I would've forgotten about Him. I would not have any time to go to Church and attend the Holy Mass. I would not be able to serve Him completely because I'm too busy. I would also not be able to attend my household, trainings, fellowships, conferences, etc because I would rather choose to earn money than building my faith, strengthening my relationship and spending on fellowships and other things.

If God gave me expensive, latest, cool and hi-tech gadgets.. then I would be busy using those things rather than praying, writing my journals, create designs, etc.. I admit that I love having gadgets because I feel comfortable having them and they meet my needs. I feel "IN" especially if I have the most expensive ones. I even dreamed of having an IPHONE but then I realized that having those things will only give me temporary happiness and contentment. After acquiring these things I will keep on wanting more and more. One more thing is that I can't bring these gadgets with me when I die. It can't save me from anything. It can't replace any person who's important to me. It was made for a purpose and that purpose is to entertain.

If God gave us a chance to be together as a family.. then I or we wouldn't realize how important having a complete family  and how it influences each one of us. God made our family to be like this so that we can appreciate each others worth and presence. Being separated from each other, dealing with their differences, misunderstanding, selfishness, cat and dog fights, etc led to a gap that continuously grew as the years passed and became a major, major issue. It may be hard to express the suppressed and corny feelings but the power of love conquers all. Time and love changed and motivated us to value God's greatest and gorgeous gift which is the Family. When all else fail, it is the family whom we can always run to and with God.. I am blessed to have a complete family and I will never stop believing that one day we will be complete and we will never be separated again, with the grace of God and His blessing, AMEN! Reunited 2013!!!

If God gave me perfection.. then I wouldn't have realized my flaws and shortcomings. Only God, blessings and love are perfect. I always believe that I have to do things perfectly. I had the attitude of being a perfectionist. I was afraid to make mistakes. I was afraid being told and being embarrassed. I am concerned on what people will say to me. I am mindful of my actions and I follow the standards of the world. But then I realized that it was only I who is hurt. It was I who struggled with perfection. It was I who had to prove my worth, be accepted and be pleasing in the eyes of others. God assured me that it is only Him that I should please and that if I continued doing this then my identity will be lost and I will always be broken. God healed me and transformed me to be better. He allowed these things to happen to open my eyes to the reality that I was blinded to. He made me realize that I am not perfect, that it's ok to make mistakes, that I shouldn’t be affected on what people may say, that I should go out of my boundaries, that I should live life to the fullest and that I shouldn't be afraid. God used my imperfections to see, experience and reveal to me how beautiful life is with Him.

If God gave me a perfect love story… then I would have not experienced being heart broken. Then I wouldn't feel any pain and disappointment. We wouldn't have been hurt if it did. And if He did then we wouldn’t learn from it and we wouldn't correct our mistakes. He made me realize that people have to break up in order for them to grow up. When God closes a door, He would open a window. Sometimes people have to experience being broken for them to realize that God has better plans for them and maybe God is preparing them for someone better as long as we trust His will and timing. God allowed me to understand the true meaning of love and trust despite the brokenness in me. He is slowly healing me and mending the scars I have. For now I have to wait and do the things God wants me to do. I have to love God and my family more so that when it is time and when I'm ready then I can be able to accept and love someone again yet this time being wiser, better and more mature.

If God didn't give me pain, hurt, disappointment, rejections, struggle and difficulties… then my life would have been easy. If He didn't then I wouldn't have learn things the easy way. God used those struggles to mold me to become the person that I am now. He tested me by giving me those struggles to shape my character and to change me of my ways. He revealed to me that when things go wrong I should call His name always in prayer and most of the time. He made me hold on to Him because He knew that I need to grow, learn and move forward. He assured me that "Nothing just happens." And "All things have a purpose and that we have to discover that." He made known to me that there are no accidents and all of it is a part of His great plan for me and for everyone. .Things became clear after our eyes have been washed away with tears.

Sometimes God doesn't give you what you think you want..not because you don't deserve it but because you deserve more. :)

If God gave me things that I want rather than what I need then I wouldn't have realize the importance of having less and be contented other than wanting to have more and more. God allowed these things to happen because He knows that it is for the better. Nothing just happens. Everything happens for a reason.  It may not be clear now but soon you will understand. As they say, there are no accidents. Indeed, God moves in mysterious way. His plans are way better than ours. He is in control and we need to be still and trust His will. God is so good and great! Thanks be to God. In Jesus' name, AMEN! :))

May God be praised!!

Brain VS Heart

I stumbled upon this picture as I was thinking of something to share...

The never ending fight between the mind and the heart...

The mind may contradict and reason but the heart insists and wins..

The battle of the heart and mind always happens and never ends. :) I guess the heart has feelings that contradict with the understanding of our mind.

The mind was created to understand and perceive while the heart is to feel and to love. :) And I guess each part of our body just do what it's intended to do or to function as it was made. God is so great to have created a perfect body with organs, a brain and a heart.

I guess we just need to seek God's guidance in all our thoughts and actions so that we are guided and we don't experience confusion to which is right and not.

BENDING without BREAKING

It has been 2 weeks(?) since I last posted or blogged about something.. To admit, I had struggles and I didn't have time to blog about it. For 2 weeks, I experienced the ups and downs, the tears and joy, the questions and doubts and the importance of prayer, letting go and allowing God to take over. Things have been tough on me and I always have a heart break everyday except weekends. I felt being stabbed on the chest and it's hard for me to cope up. I tried suppressing my emotions instead of repressing it. I felt the burden getting heavier and I find it hard to understand why it was happening. I felt depressed and I always held on to eating to feel the sense of comfort. I knew that something was wrong about me and it made me wonder why or how. I asked for the grace to accept the reality, to keep loving, to forgive, to continue being kind and do good to others even if they're not. I instilled to myself that I should be humble, forgiving and loving as Jesus Christ was.

Honestly, I asked a lot of question to God. I tried to ask the spirit to give me knowledge and wisdom to understand because I can't rationalize it. As the days pass by, things are getting harder and the feelings in me are almost at my peek. I felt being consumed by my emotions and I had to control myself before I do things recklessly. In my mind, I knew God was slowly bending me for Him to mold me and sharpen my character. God knew I had to strengthen my faith and he tested me to see how much I could move forward. Through that experience God showed me the power of prayer and how it changes your perspective. It didn't happen instantly yet I know God works mysteriously. Things became clear because my eyes were washed away with tears.

There's a line that pierced through me during the resurrection of Christ:
"He humbled himself therefore God raised him high"

During the third week, I noticed a change in me. The things that seemed to bother before are not that important now. I mean instead of making it as a big deal, I learned to ignore it. Instead of getting even, I decided to be humble. Instead of competing, I chose loving. Instead of complaining, I kept obeying. Instead of doing bad, I chose to do good. Instead of hurting, I chose forgiveness and healing. Instead of hating, I prefer loving. Instead of breaking, God taught me the importance of bending. I allowed God to have His way in me for I know greater things are yet to come and nothing just happens.

Praise God! Now all those experiences are nothing because God blessed me an enduring, kind, faithful, joyful, strengthened, trusting, prayerful and loving heart. I know God wants my heart to be in tune with His. I really praise and thank the Lord for all the realizations and the transformation He has done to me. No matter how hard things in life may seem just keep bending but not breaking. And now I can truly say that I am pressed but not crushed, persecuted not abandoned, hurt yet healed and being bent without breaking.

"God wants me to be flexible like a bamboo, to keep bending without breaking!"
"Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us." Romans 5:3-5

Thank you and Praise God!
God bless! :)

Dream boy (Part 3)

I woke up at 6:30 in the morning today. I couldn't believe what I saw in my dream. I thought that it's a sequel to Me and my weird dreams.. It could even be more weird than the previous ones but this time.. I recognized the face of the guy and luckily I knew Him. Or maybe I'm assuming? hahah But his face was so clear to me... Wahooooo! hahahah LOL! I want to describe his physical features but I'm afraid that He'll be noticed and He might have a feeling that it's Him I'm referring to. It's better to be quiet and limit the descriptions about him hihihih Here's a lil info.... He's attractive, humble, nice, responsible and the best thing about Him is that He is an active SFC member! Very nice! CHECK! :D

I'll call him Dream boy since He visited me and my dreams for several times now like 5 already? We don't communicate or even see each other but only during activities. I never think of him or anybody.. Really? Maybe others would say that "maybe I'm thinking of him subconsciously?" Is it a coincidence or just pure fantasy? Well even I couldn't explain it either hehehe..I'm just a girl who dreamsssss a lot :))

True love coming soooon! :))
So back to the dream and it goes this way.. So Dream boy invited me and my friend for lunch. I went in a room then went out carrying a bird cage.. I walked in the hallway with my girl friend (maybe it was Ayra, my best friend since HS - just a guess) and I saw dream boy smiling at me as I was heading towards him.. He was cute actually or is it that I imagined him but no offense because He's definitely cute and attractive hehehe and so I looked away from him and pretended not to notice him. I was a bit shy and walked passed him and his friend.. In my mind I thought that him inviting us or me for lunch was a joke so I just ignored it. Then all of a sudden He called my attention and said "Let's go for lunch." Him saying that made me smile and kilig for a while and I said Yes but then I woke up.................... wooooooooooooooooooooooooh....... bitin! grrrrrrrr....

It's frustrating to wake up in a middle of a dream and you don't know what happened next.. Oh well.. It made me smile though... And here I am waiting for another episode hahahah What do you think would have happened next? hmmmmmmmmmmm... Was it a date? waaaaaaah! heheh oh well.............

Dreams are very strange.. And I noticed I've been dreaming a lot and somehow it's all connected with having a relationship with a guy.. Is it time to have one or am I just having fun? Hmmm is this a sign? Or it's just in my mind?????? OOooooh lot of questions but I know God will reveal and answer them all sooon in His time. So let's waaaaaaaaaaaaaait and not exaggerate!!! heheheh

Weird dreams Part 2

Then again.. I dreamed of somebody for the second time around and this time I think we were a couple already hahahah.. Or maybe was I assuming? I felt happy and we called ourselves "My Boy or Guy and My Girl" because we were in an intimate relationship. We go out for a date, walked near or by the bridge and I remembered cooking a white meal for Him like maybe oatmeal/porridge, lugaw, soup, or caldo! All I know is that it was something hot and I happily cooked it then we ate together hehe..

Hmmmm who is this person that I've been dreaming of? I never think of somebody or anyone. Hmmmm I don't know.. ehehehe I think unconsciously???? Well but yeah I miss the feeling of somebody caring for you. Someone who would make you happy and do crazy things for you. He would call and text you for no reason but say I love you! He would give you flowers, chocolates or anything He thinks you love. You would go to Mass together then go out after. He would offer to take you home and you would talk over the home til midnight. You would even see each other everyday or even play cards together. You would do things you both love and even do skype hahahah.. Then He would meet your family and then you would also meet his family. Then you would celebrate monthsaries, anniversaries, birthdays and all other special occasions.. :)

Owwwww it's been almost 17 months since I was into a relationship and I guess it's about time I prepare my heart to accept. Actually it's been prepared and ready hehehe.. :)) God allowed me to learn, to mature, to realize, to wait, to heal and to be better. Woooh time to brush off the fears away and let love take over..hehehe

I had a 2 minute conversation with an Indian friend working in a grocery store which I usually buy from at the elevator.. He asked me, "You've changed and it's beautiful." I was flattered, blushing and happy then answered, "Yes I did. I changed the color of my hair and everything!" He then asked, "Are you married?" I said, "No." He asked again, "Single? You have boyfriend?" I proudly said, "No, not yet! Soon!" Then he wondered, "Why?" I answered, "Well I'm waiting and sooon!" Then our conversation ended because we parted ways heheh

I then asked myself after that, "Am I ready to enter in a relationship?" Or maybe I just need someone who'll listen to me and even comfort me in times of distress. I am not sure if I do need a boyfriend now or am I just lazy to explore hahahah.. *kidding! But then I guess it's in a ratio of 65 sure and 35 unsure (65/35)..

Then again, God assures me to wait. :) That while I wait, I should pray, I should serve and I should focus myself unto Him more. He wants me to go and explore. I know He never fails and that He has planned all of this. Sooon in the right time, He will be mine. :) With God's grace, AMEN!

I have YOU in my heart.

Me & my weird dreams

I dreamed this today! May 1, 2013
I don't know why but I suddenly dreamed about this. I was not thinking about him or about anyone. I can't remember the face but I know it was a guy and I don't know if I was waiting for him, or maybe I just met him by accident, or he's a friend or maybe we met again.. I don't know heheheh It's weird but I felt it's something like a vision or just one of my fantasies hihihi :) I remember the clothes I wore and my hair was long with bangs hihihihi I can't remember the place and when I drew the picture I just added details. I know I was with somebody. I felt nervous that I think I know what was going to happen.. Then I woke up......

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.. When it comes to the good part.. It always gets cut!!!! hehehe Oh well.. somehow that's it! I wanted to treasure the moment so I sketched it so that I can remember it if ever it does happen hihihi If God allows it then let His will be done.. AMEN! Hopefully to be continued!! hihihih

So let's call it a day.. Good night! :) Happy Labor day!!!!!!!!! So blessed to have a job! :)) All for God. All for Love! :)) Thank you Lord for this hope and vision! Have your way!!!! May God be praised!

1st year as CFC Singles for Christ

Today, April 27, 2013 marks another milestone in my life that I am blessed and grateful for. I never regretted it and I am happy that I choose to accept and be a part of it. Today is a gift that I really cherish and remembering the memories of last year brings me joy. At first it was never easy and after all it was worth all the struggle and God willingly rewarded me beyond what I imagined. After years of waiting, praying, longing and anticipating of moving on to the next chapter of my life and leaving my comfort zone which was in CFC Youth for Christ, I finally decided to crossover to CFC SFC. God prepared my heart and my maturity for me to let go and to accept where He wants me to be.

Today, I am celebrating my first year officially as a member of CFC Singles for Christ. Thank you Lord! Praise God!

I entered the CFC SFC community last January 2012. We had 13 talks for the CLP (Christian Life Program) and we ended last April 2012. I met a lot of good and inspiring people that inspired me to also inspire others and served as a guide. God answered my prayer because I was seeking Him and I was longing for a family to belong in Dubai. Being away from your loved ones is a struggle that we always try to overcome and I have found them here. I would never imagine that I have reached this far. God is so amazing and no words can describe how wonderfully He has molded, guided and led me to a life that's full of purpose and blessed me with a household, with friends and a family in the community. The SFC community opened doors of opportunities for me to serve, to grow, to improve, to be better and more lessons to learn. It made my life complete and worth living.

Blessed by God. Gifted with Loved.

I am grateful for God blessed me with a Household head who’s ever supportive, loving, caring and forgiving, my Nanay este Mudra Annie and to my special sisters in crime este sisters at heart, Ate Lhen, Ate Phet, Ate Kath and adopted sister Ate Ann hehehe.. Thank you for your understanding, love and patience. I love and miss you big time! God knows how blessed and thankful I am for knowing you and for uniting us as one household! Looking forward to serve with you and be with you during activities!!!

Cheers to the 1st Anniversary in CFC Singles for Christ! Praying for many more joyful memories and endless heart to serve a great God and somehow be a full-pledged missionary in God's time and if God permits.

Lord thank you so much for everything! Everything I am now is all thanks to your grace and divine providence. May I be a source of forgiveness, joy, hope, love, peace, humility, unity and faith to your people. Use me Lord as an instrument to inspire, to bless, to witness and to proclaim your greatness throughout the ends of the earth. Teach me your ways Lord and make me your servant. Please have your way in me. Let your will be done. All of these I ask in Jesus' name and through the intercession of Mother Mary, Amen!!

And for this, may God be praised! :)) Hallelujah!!!!

PLAYING GUITAR: MY SOURCE OF PEACE

(i wrote this yesterday: April 19, 2013)

I started playing and learning the guitar again. I don't know why but I felt like trying and this time I'm determined to master it (hopefully).. These past few days I didn't feel like playing it because of the pain since the "cables on my fingers" are not evident anymore thus pressing it on the string really hurts. I didn't know why today I wanted to try playing it.

I felt happy because I tried playing the songs well and the sound became music to my ears. Why? Before I didn't like the sound every time I strum the strings because I am hearing a dull sound but as I was playing somehow it resembles that of an acoustic string. The guitar I borrowed has nylon strings which produces a different sound when being strummed than the acoustic. I, however try to listen to the sound of the chord if ever I forget the right chord of the song. I really fail in remembering chords hihihi so I usually depend on my hearing and listening to the sound when I play.

I played several songs today namely, Heart of Worship, Oh I Love You, Larger than life, Have your way, Hallelujah, Freedom and Praiseworthy!!!

As I played those songs I noticed that the sounds coming were beautiful to my ears. It's like my brain is encouraging me to keep playing. I asked myself, Is it because I opened myself to God and allowed Him to heal me? Am I creating beautiful music despite my brokenness in the past? All along the guitar wasn't the reason why I couldn't play it right because it was me who was having a problem. I admit I was struggling with my faith and prayer time still and I am disturbed by my past hurt and experiences.

It was then that it became clear to me that despite the brokenness that I have been through and after all the SFC activities, God remained faithful to me. God never let me go even if I was the one who already gave up and let Him go. It was me who decided not to attend mass last week. It was I who ran away and who's lost. It was I who was selfish, lazy, stubborn and doubtful. It was I who needed God the most. He made me realize that it was just a bend and it's not the end. God gave me hope that I should continue doing whatever he wants me to do. He assured me that HE LOVES ME!!! I felt His love and His greatness is unexplainable. I felt secured knowing that God remains the same even if His people change.

I really felt at peace as I was studying and playing the songs maybe because those are my favorite YFC worship songs. I always long to hear them being played during worship and they never fail to make my heart leap for joy as I sing praises to God. As for the slow songs, they never fail to cleanse me within and I always find myself praying and serenading it to God. Awwwwww! I miss the songs where I grow up singing with! Still I hope and pray that soon the YFC songs will also be passed on and be integrated in SFC. Slowly and surely in God's time!!!!

Broken chords can still play good music. Broken people can still be healed and play a better music. (tama ba? Makes sense? Hihihihi >>>190413<<<

Reminiscing my guitar moments.. =) #priceless #peace #joy #passion #love #blessed

MORE FAITH, NO FEAR!!!!

MORE FAITH, NO FEAR

Why more faith and no fear??????

It was agreed by the committee that our theme for the first anniversary in Dubai Chapter B3 as Batch 43 of CFC Singles for Christ will be MORE FAITH, (it was formerly LESS) NO FEAR because it coincides with the theme of the Church that is the YEAR OF FAITH and the CFC theme to OBEY and WITNESS!

Here's the evolution of our theme design

We had several suggestions like but we agreed on the MORE FAITH and NO FEAR because… FEAR ENDS WHEN FAITH IN GOD BEGINS. PERFECT LOVE CASTS AWAY FEAR. The best way to conquer our FEAR is FAITH and LOVE FOR GOD. This year, our battle cry is to have MORE FAITH & NO or LESS FEAR!!!

Here's why…

* In order to proclaim the gospel and the good news we should have LESS FEAR and MORE FAITH..

* In order to be sent on a mission and be used as an instrument of God you should have NO FEAR but MORE FAITH..

* For you to be able to OBEY GOD AND WITNESS HIS MIRACLES, it requires NO FEAR BUT MORE FAITH..

* For God to do greater things for your life you must allow yourself to be FEARLESS and MORE FAITH..

* As a child of God, it requires FAITH in believing that He exists though we can't see Him and He assures us UNAFRAID because He's always there.

* To accomplish the mission, our hearts should be FREE FROM FEAR and FULL OF FAITH that whatever it is that may seem impossible will be possible because we believed!

* And by saying YES to the service, you are allowing God to work in your life and to transform you to become the person He wants you to be. By saying YES you are enabling yourself to greater opportunities that will test your FAITH and will conquer your FEARS.

* Fear is nothing compared to the FAITH and LOVE we have for GOD. With God we can accomplish greater and impossible things! We have to believe and have faith because FAITH and LOVE prevails!

MORE FAITH! NO FEAR!
Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be men of courage; be strong.
