Yesterday, today and tomorrow, He is ever faithful.. Our God nevers fails to fulfill the promises He made to His beloved. The big question is, do we/I fail Him? Super duper thank you Lord. Looking back a year ago during my toughest moment, you have comforted me through family, friends and household. I wouldn't have survived and witness your great plans for me. Looking forward. Holding on. Lead me Lord.

Light of Jesus
Blessed to share in Miraculous Medal Chapel. Thank you! Praise God! :)
Assigned Date: December 14, 2014
Assigned Date: December 14, 2014
Assigned
Verse: John 1:6-8,19-28
Reflection Story:
John was conceived in Elizabeth’s womb though
barren at an old age. He was sent by God and to testify that with the Lord nothing
is impossible. John the Baptist fulfilled his purpose on earth. He baptized
people, spread the good news, prepared the way for Jesus and became a witness to
the light. He humbly admitted that he is unworthy and he’s not the source of
light which he referred to Jesus, the Messiah.
Let me share to you a story about the little
candle’s discovery in knowing its purpose. Once there was a little candle
placed in a room together with other candles. The little candle felt very tiny
for it has seen several candles – plain, small, tall, glittery, scented, big,
multi-colored, wonderfully shaped and expensive.
The sun went down and the room began to get dark. A man came to light the little candle then he started lighting each candle and the room was filled with light. The little candle realized that all the other candles gave out the same light regardless of what they are. Few hours later, the wax started to melt. It was then that the candle realized its purpose, “to give light until it dies”.
We are the different candles who are chosen by God, called to spread the word and be witnesses of Jesus. We were created on earth for a purpose and we should fulfill God’s will/plan in us. Jesus is the source of light. He first taught us to love. He gave his life for the salvation of our sins. He is the light that brought faith, hope, peace and love to all of us. He is the match/lighter that ignites the fire in our hearts. Apart from Him, we are lost, we are nothing and we are not capable. With Him, all things are made possible. Let’s continue to give and spread the light of Jesus.
11 days to go before Christmas! Am I excited? Is my heart ready to welcome Jesus and allow Him to light my path? Will I allow myself to be a witness to the light and live my life in accordance to God’s plan? Am I ready for the challenges that await me if I choose to follow Christ no matter how difficult it may seem? Am I ready to become an Alter Christus (alternate Christ) to my neighbors?
If the answer is Yes then be excited for the Savior is coming. Strengthen your faith, pray more and be ready since greater things are yet come. If the answer is No/Maybe then you still have time to prepare yourself for the birth of Jesus. Open your heart and allow the Spirit to teach, equip and lead you to the right path.

31 days to 26th
A year has nearly flown by since I had a 31 days post before my 25th last 2013. So now, I can't believe that here I am doing the same before I turn 26th next year, 31 days later.
It's just overwhelming how 2014 has been a great year for me - with all the ups and downs plus the humor, heartbreak and horror.. Thank you Lord for allowing me to come this far. You have blessed me with so much that all I can say is "Thank You!"
So now, the clock is ticking. 31 days before I bid goodbye to being a silver girl. I need to prepare myself for this since I never had the chance to do the "birthday for a cause" thing which I planned last year. I hope it all goes well. Whatever it may be, I trust in you!
Lord may your will be done. Thank you so much!

God saved my 2 left fingers!!!
Usually,
we don't give importance to something unless it is lost or forgotten. I
realized that I almost lost 2 fingers in my left hand. Thank God it did not
happen and I was surprised and even nervous. It was not because of firecrackers
or anything but it was almost hit by the door in our bus. When I got in
(usually the last one) and after I seated then closed the sliding door, the
rubber of the door slipped off and I tried fixing it. I lost my mind because I
focused on the rubber falling off when I did close the door. I was at risk
on amputating my own 2 fingers on my left hand. I laughed as I massaged my
finger and I was a bit caught up during the incident.
I
am a left hand user by the way and I can't imagine writing or doing something
if it did happen. After that, I laughed as if it was nothing but deep inside I
became anxious and thought of all the what ifs. What could have happen if God
didn't save me from that? I guess I am just blessed and God has greater plans
for me that is why He didn't allow it to happen.
I
learned I have to be aware of my actions. I have to be aware of my own safety.
I have to be aware of my health. I have to be aware of my attitude. I have a
lot of things to be aware of and I praise and thank the Lord for giving me a
wake up calling. May I always continue the mission that the Lord has started
through me as I follow and take up the journey towards Christ. May God be
praised! AMEN!

God's musician someday
Frankly, I am ambitious, purposely driven, a day dreamer, mostly a trying hard gal who's aspiring to become God's musician someday.
My journey to loving and performing music for God started in YFC. I can still remember the time during a youth camp in Tapaz way back 2005 and as I woke up, I heard Kuya Lloyd singing the song praiseworthy as He plays the guitar. From that day on, I started loving and learning to play the guitar. I was so inspired by the former drug addict now renewed son of God who was worshipping the Lord early in the morning. That moment moved me and inspired me to do the same for God. I guess that it was one of the reasons I came to love playing "Praiseworthy and all other songs" for it is meant to bring back all the glory and praise to God alone (SOLI DEO GLORIA).
I got my own red guitar way back 2006. I struggled as I started to learn it while balancing my time for studies, church, service, family and simple joys. I was so blessed to have someone tutored me as I study the chords, strumming patterns and the song. I have learned several songs and at first it was a painful yet exciting beginning. No pain, no gain as they say it and I had to endure it. I had to go through ups and downs wherein I would sometimes lose my focus and interest in pursuing the music I wanted to give to God. Years passed and the same pattern keeps going - on and off even until now.
I started recording some covers and found myself starting to re-learn what I learned in the past. I felt like a drop out since I started this dream last 2006 and it's 2014 now, I'm still not graduating. Haha! I was practicing daily (trying). I tried new songs and new chords to play especially the ones that I tried to avoid - the complex chords. I was goal driven since I remember the reason why I started to play. I was going out of my comfort zone before. I went to different places in my province, bringing with me my guitar, my desire to proclaim God's greatness and trying my hardest to teach them the song as I play it myself. "Sariling sikap" or self supporting as they call it. Before it was a struggle to bring with me as I go on mission a guitarist so I managed to do it on my own then years passed I arrived in Dubai with a mission to fulfill.
Lately this year, I was called to become the music min for the Easter KFC activity last April since no one was free to do it. I couldn't say no but because I had the same passion in me who's half asleep, I said yes. Slowly the desire I had before was awakened. I find myself loving it again and I tried hard to practice for the activity. I was nervous and afraid since it's going to be my first time playing the music seriously by following the accurate strumming pattern in public and with the power chord attached to a power source. I felt not confident enough since I knew I might make a mistake in the middle of the song and lose focus. In the name of service and for God, I managed to play the song using the guitar while singing without mistake, able to remember the chords, able to serve as an emcee and deliver the talk to the Junior 2 kids all in one KFC activity. Superb grace and leading from the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord.
We had a mission in Dibba last May and I was privileged to be there. During that week, I was practicing the songs since they needed a guitarist. I tried my hardest but the guitar which I was using was returned to the owner since he also needed it. Despite that I still learned the songs just in case. On that day, the guitarist didn't know the songs since he was from SOLD. Me, feeling ambitious tried to play it nervously. God's spirit works wonders and I was able to do it correctly (maybe because the guitar was Yamaha). I played "Have your way" and some songs which I knew. It was a nice feeling because I was singing, playing and praying simultaneously together with the group as one during the worship. God moves us mysteriously and for sure He has heard our cries and praises as the activity ended successfully.
May 16, 2014 as I shared and testified God's greatness through my struggle as I looked for a job in the Natcon at RAK, I was again affirmed by God to push my desire to play for Him. I was blessed by Ate Elma (Kim from AUH) in which she gave me her guitar to practice and do mission for God. She was with us during the mission in Dibba. She felt like I needed a guitar of my own to pursue the mission for God. I felt like winning that time and I was close to tears since I was affirmed by several people after my sharing and it was a great moment to cherish. From that day on, my journey to fulfill the dream/mission continued and is slowly blooming. I am a work in progress. I can be a trying hard when it comes to playing the guitar and especially in singing but I am doing it not for them but for God. I dunno where my confidence comes from but I didn't feel any shame when I recorded covers for God for I know out of millions, I can inspire one soul.
A month later, I was blessed by God to attend a music min workshop. For the first time, I felt honored to be a part of the music min. They had talks and workshops that made me realize the importance of the whole team to perform a good music. Each instrument/function is nothing without the presence of others. I realize that pride is the enemy and we have to battle it with humility that as we improve we should always remain on the ground and bring back the glory that God solely deserves. I am somewhat guilty (at times) but I am affirmed to keep going and to change it. I am thankful for the opportunity and the inspiration that I brought with me will help me in pursuing the dream. Thank you Lord for the assurance and the confidence despite my flaws and weakness. I went home happy and blessed with the eagerness to strive more as I become an alter Christ wherever I will be.
As the days, weeks and months pass, God is still affirming me to keep journeying even if it's difficult, sometimes frustrating, hurting and expectations are rising. I am a few big steps away from my dream and I know I can finally achieve it with God's grace.

2005 moments with Mama
April 2005 was my high school graduation and Mama was there..July 2005 was my graduation from YFC.. We had a chance to talk. I hugged you and we prayed over each other. It was a magic moment. I remember the letter you wrote to me and that I was the ate to the younger siblings you were leaving behind.
September 2005 - Mama then left to work in the US..I was studying BSN while they were in elementary.
November 2013 - 8 years later she went home for good..
A lot of things/events have happened during those times. I know it's hard for you to be away from your family especially to your 5 kids who were very young that time. I know the feeling you felt when you missed every milestone that we have achieved. You weren't there to see us graduate one by one and even witness our dreams coming true. Ma, you have done so well for us all. I can't explain the hurt you felt but I know you were struggling with it. It must have been unbearable for you but you were strong enough and you have survived all those years of loneliness and distance. You valued your family more than yourself. You never exchanged us or Papa for wanting to be a legal resident in the US.
I honor you Ma for all your sacrifices and love for me and for us. Thank you gd Ma sa tanan.. Thank you sa faith mo, sa encouragement, sa advises, sa teachings and all.. Now I realize the importance of your discipline when I was young even though I questioned it before na daw ka unfair. Hehehe pero now I am proud to be a carbon copy of you.. hehehe I have changed and grow to become a better person You are my inspiration and that's what I have come to know and understand. God is good for blessing me such wonderful, dedicated, loving and kind parents!
Happy Mother's day! I miss you. I long to see you. Ako nalang ang wala pa nakakita sa imo in person! Ingggggit heheheh It was September 2005 that I last saw you. I hope to see you this December and para ma completo na rin family natin after nearly 9 years. With God's grace, lahat possible. Claiming and praying for it!
I love you Ma. See you! God bless you! Enjoy your special day!

Lessons learned from Kish Island
We were in an island wherein most of
us have been there for quite a while and there was nothing for us to do. We
decided to go to places together, talk about random things/situations, had an
experience to attend a bible study and we usually ate our meals together. We
had fun because we enjoyed our stay there.
I have learned 10 things during my 5
day stay there........
1. Build RELATIONSHIPS
through FRIENDSHIP with other people because no man is an island..
2. Sharing your burdens with
others. In return, listening to their stories and learning from their mistakes.
3. No worries, less stress.
Enjoy life. Relax. Take it easy. God is in control.
4. Try to learn something
new.
5. Be open to various
possibilities. Get ready for the (unexpected) surprises from God.
6. Enjoy and savor your simple joys.
7. Overcoming fears and
surrendering to God.
8. Waiting takes time. Great
things come through patience.
9. Being distant is hard and
communication is important to maintain relationships. Trust is essential.
10. Letting go of bad
experiences, unwanted feelings and burdens then allowing God's love
and
forgiveness to heal you and take over. (Letting go and letting God)
At some point we were lonely because we felt isolated from the world but it was a chance for us to reflect and realize the importance of time for others, the presence of our loved ones and our time for our own self. Busy as we are with the priorities we have, we usually fail to realize that we are blessed. Sometimes we take for granted the persons whom we loved and the time we spent with them is almost too little.
Going to Kish was like a retreat for me since I don't spend my time wisely because I'm too busy with some things. I am happy and proud because meeting people, listening to them and journeying with them there was a bonus. I had fun and I didn't regret going there. God taught me to build and strengthen relationships and that I will put in to practice with His grace in time.

Journey in the UAE (2011-2013)
Think about your story and thank God for bringing you this far. Praise
Him for His mighty acts; praise Him according to His excellent greatness. -
Psalms 150:2
Every
experience is a memory worth remembering and a story worth sharing. Allow me to
narrate my story on how I came to the UAE. It all started last June 2011. I was
asked by my Father if I wanted to go abroad and He mentioned that there's YFC
there. I thought about it and immediately I said Yes, not knowing what will
happen next. I trusted God and I prepared myself because I said I'd go mission
there.
I was
working as a volunteer nurse that time and I was actively serving YFC in High
School Based. God knows how much I loved serving YFC and I was dedicated to
empower and equip the high school to become future leaders. I pushed them to go
on mission while training and teaching them more about service. We had
leadership training, fellowship, youth camp and household. I felt confident and
calm because I know they will stand for the province and will become better
leaders. God prepared my heart and strengthened me to leave without regrets
knowing that I gave my all for the province and for the YFC community.
I
arrived in Dubai ,
October 8, 2011 and I brought with me my birth certificate. Unknowing of what
lies ahead I kept going on. I learned step by step on what I should do. I was
guided even though I felt so lost in a foreign land. I then realized that I was
prepared spiritually but not physically and mentally. I was blinded, insensitive,
selfish, confused and eventually I almost gave up. I struggled and it was hard
for me to overcome it. I made mistakes and have hurt a few people which then I
regret doing. It was when I learned to trust and have faith in God more that I
started to build myself again. I tried to stand up and motivate myself to keep
going even though it means fighting over homesickness and selfish desires. God
made his presence more felt and I was surrounded by love from a family who
hosted my stay here. God blessed me with so much that I forgot to appreciate
and be thankful for the blessings. God made me realize that I can change, I can
make mistakes, I can repent, I can grow, I can be hurt and I can move on.
God
has a right time and everything happened with a purpose. I had my CV ready,
applied jobs online, tried walk-in and my authenticated documents arrived then
I had a job at a nursery. God never left me when I needed Him the most. I
wouldn't have a job without the help of my family and friends. I started
working and it was where I experienced the ups and downs of life. I realized
that it's hard to work with different people having unique attitudes. I felt
pressured and stressed yet I was able to manage in the end. From then on,
things started to change and I was getting better. God allowed me to learn
through my experience that it resulted as a consequence of my actions. I then
realized that I should think before I do something. I was able to adapt to the
job I am in and it went well but then I felt incomplete. I searched for the
community because I was spiritually dry. I was longing for the comfort of my
family, brothers and sisters back home.
It
was somewhere in January 2012, when I had my visa and just finished attending
the Holy Eucharist that I received an invitation about an ongoing CLP for SFC.
I then reflected that maybe God is calling me to go back to Him and that the
CLP would be the answer. I decided to go and attend the CLP. I was welcomed and
I felt at home. I made a decision to start the CLP again instead of being
endorsed to a household because I wanted to refresh my memory and learn more
about God through the talks. Everything was new to me and that's where I
started journeying with God and with my newfound family. I finished the CLP
with God's grace. 3 months later we had our covenant orientation and it was a
go signal for me to start serving God.
After
Covenant Orientation, I hungered for fellowship, service and worship. I started
serving in Kids for Christ. It was in that ministry that I learned to be close
to the children. I learned to speak, act, pray, play, learn and enjoy like a
child. Now I realized that I am indeed close to the children for they have
taught me to be expressive of my emotions through actions like hugging, etc. I
continued serving them and eventually I grew matured and I knew I was getting
better. For every service I had with them, it was an opportunity for me to
learn and improve myself. All I can say was YES and I just kept going for I
know the Lord will be glorified more through the service with the kids.
Finally
it was nearly the end of the year. I got to complete my 1st Simbang
Gabi in the UAE, celebrated my 2nd Christmas and New Year. Months
flew like hours and before I knew it 2013 came in like a bang! Then my 24th
birthday came and I celebrated it with my SFC household! God is great! Then I
became busy with a blog account and was able to manage it for 3 months but then
became inactive due to demands with the schedule and lack of sources. I managed
to update my blogspot for a while so I tried hard to write and post.
Activities
come and go wherein you never knew that it was done. I attended the several KFC
activities but the KFC desert camp was the most memorable and totally fun
because the focus was with the family. Also I had the chance to attend a
Mother-Daughter weekend before Mother's day. Of course the KFC monthly activity
in Dubai and
Jebel Ali was a great blessing to me and gave me chances to learn and improve
myself.
Unexpectedly
God blessed me the opportunity to go home this year. With second thoughts God
pushed His will for me. I immediately planned my destination and budgeted my
money. I was able to send a package with God's grace. I felt being alive and
extremely happy knowing I can see my loved ones and be finally home. The
feeling of going home really made me crazy and so expressive. And it was
totally worth it! I felt so blessed and loved extremely that a lot of things
happened according to God's plan for me.
My
vacation flew like hours and now I'm back in Dubai . Said hello to new challenges and
greater struggles. I felt homesick like it was the first time and I was able to
get over it. I experienced the Eid holiday, Dhow Cruise and it was a time
wherein I focused more on myself as I learned to stand up again. I realized my
self worth, I gained confidence and I was up and ready to go out of my comfort
zone to meet new friends instead of isolating myself.
Then
CLP came. I was called to be a facilitator in which I doubted at first but then
said yes. God moves in mysterious ways and I felt myself changing slowly. I
really felt better than ever and my desire to serve Him grew stronger. I
started loving and embracing the cross He entrusted to me. I know this is just
the beginning and a lot of things will be happening and knowing He's with me is
all I need to go on. My faith became my weapon and I felt it growing and
improving to withstand any circumstances that come my way. And I know I have a
great and amazing God that will never leave me at any cost.
I may
have my own problems and issues yet I place my trust on God who will never gave
up on me, who continuously trusts in me, who believes in my capability, who
empowers me to go on, who blesses me beyond measure, who understands and hears
the real me, who inspires me to serve others, who uses me as an instrument for
His greater glory, who pushes me to the limits of my capacity and who loves me
the most in spite and despite my flaws and imperfections.

Lord, thank you so much for being with me and for that I will continue to be faithful
in finishing whatever you have started in me. Let your will be done. I lift up
everything to You Lord knowing that you are God and I am not. I am excited for
what lies ahead knowing that I am never alone for you are in me.
.Blessed. Loved. Happy. Empowered
May
God be praised!

10 things I will give to the Lord this 2013
This realization was during the First
fruits activity we had last month. So here’s the continuation.. I
already made a first post about it but it wasn’t detailed much..
Lord I know I have to give back what
you gave to me. I feel so bad Lord that I couldn’t give you as much as
you did. Lord I am not worthy and I am sinful. I am really sorry if I
became so selfish and I only thought about myself, only myself alone.
Lord I only have 10 dirhams with me along with some coins in my pocket
and this 10 dirhams is not enough to give back to you for the many
blessings and graces that I have received from you during the past
years. I’m sorry Lord. I don’t have anything more to give to you but
just this. I am really struggling with finances and it’s really hard to
cope up. I know Lord that this struggle will soon become a blessing and I
firmly believe that I will surpass this with your grace.
Lord You said it doesn’t matter how
big or small the amount you give because what matters is you give
something. My Lord You said, that what matters most is the character of
your heart when you give. It’s easy to give when you have enough but
it’s challenging when you give everything that’s left and nothing
remains.
“It’s not about what or how much you
have when you give but it’s being delighted in expressing your Love and
Honoring me as Your Father My Child. I don’t need those things that you
have. I just want you to dedicate yourself to me through these first
fruits.” said and affirmed the Lord.
So while I was praying and listening to the
songs being played by the Music Min I was also reflecting on how good
the Lord has been through the years. The songs that were played were:
Give my all, This is my desire and Here I am to worship. He indeed is
great and beyond compare. No words can express how awesome His grace and
love is for all mankind. I felt so touched and moved by the Holy Spirit
and inspired me to write as the Lord lead me.
I then realized that I should have 10 things in mind (desires and prayers) that I would give back and offer to the Lord.
1. Express and live my Faith
2. Prayer time & Bible reflection (consistent)
3. Devotion, commitment and service to the Lord
4. Go on a mission (higher calling, fulfill my dream to become a missionary)
5. Time, talent and treasure to proclaim God’s greatness
6. My Family, My God’s greatest and gorgeous gift.
7. Excel in my career, better finances and praying for better opportunities
8. Relationship with friends, community, etc
9. Grow, change, mature, blessed and be transformed with God’s grace
10. My HEART. I surrender ALL TO YOU. I LOVE YOU LORD!!
1-5 is about my relationship to God.
This year I want more of Him and less of me. I want to go deeper in
knowing Him and being in His presence more. I want Him to be the first
priority and the best choice that I ever made. I will give Him back what
He deserves. I will praise and declare. I will go beyond borders to do
your mission. I will make a difference for You. I will bless others as
You have blessed me. I will be a living testimony of His greatness. I
will OBEY without complain and I will WITNESS His miracles in the lives
of His people. I will reach out and I will serve You with
all my heart, mind, soul, body and my everything . I will do it because I
love You more and more each day.. For You Lord, I will. I say Yes.
6-10 is all about my family, my dreams, my relationship, my career, personal life, my heart and me, myself.
As much as I want to serve and bring back to Him all the glory, I also
desire for opportunities to provide for my 4G and also for my future. I
also have to think and decide for myself because I have to be
independent. I am discerning for a better job with a better pay for next
year as my contract ends. I am praying for greater things ahead of me
and I know God will really surprise me beyond expectation and I am
excited for that. Also I am thinking about having a partner but it’s not
really a priority but just an exception hahahah that’s why I made it
last in the list. I know the Lord hears my desires and He will gladly
give them to me when the right time comes. I don’t know yet but I have
it in mind. For now, they are just my desires and I hope for more
revelations, realizations and reflections on what I really desire the
most. I know and trust that the Lord will truly lead me. Lord I am ready
for whatever it is that you have prepared for me.
I was waiting for my turn to offer my first
fruit, my only money and my only heart. I really felt touched by the
Lord as I offered it to Him together with the 10 things I have in mind. I
kneeled in front of the altar and I really felt His presence. “Lord
I am not worthy to give you only 10 dirhams but rest assured that I
will give you all of me and especially my heart for you. Lord accept my
simple offering, this is what I only have left and may you be delighted
with what I gave even if it’s not much. I love you Lord.” After my prayer I felt peace and unexplained joy. God
touched me and He blessed my heart. I felt so inspired and so motivated
to do greater things for Him. He gave me strength and I know I will be
victorious in proclaiming His greatness through the things I am doing
and will be doing. Lord I offer this to You.
May God be praised! God blessed to bless!

Faithful, patient and fruitful
Jan 31, 2013
Gospel: Mk 4:21-25
Whatever is hidden will be disclosed and whatever is kept secret will
be brought to light. Listen then, if you have ears.
"Pay attention to what you hear. In the measure you give, so shall
you receive and still more will be given to you. For to the one produces
something, more will be given, and from him who does not produce anything, even
what he has will be taken away from him."
Feb 1, 2013
1st reading: Heb 10:32-39
Be patient in doing the will of God and the promise will be yours: A little, a little longer –says Scripture- and He who is coming will
come; he will not delay. My righteous one will live if he believes; but if he
distrusts, I will no longer look kindly on him. We are not among those who
withdraw and perish, but among those who believe and win personal salvation.
Gospel: Mk 4:26-34
Parable of the mustard seed
"What is the kingdom
of God like? To what
shall we compare it? It is like a mustard seed which, when sown, is the smallest
of all the seeds scattered upon the soil. But once sown, it grows up and
becomes the largest of the plants in the gardens and even grows branches so big
that the birds of the air can take shelter in its shade."
He who promised is faithful.
Today, God has assured me to cast everything
to Him. He told me to be patient and to be still. He assured me that everything
will be ok and that I need to hold on unto Him. He said that I should trust Him because He
knows what He's doing. As I listened to
You raise me up.. It made me realize that things in life can weigh me down and only God and God alone can lift and raise me up.
You raise me up.. It made me realize that things in life can weigh me down and only God and God alone can lift and raise me up.
Things are harder than I thought and somehow
I am starting to be tired and stressed. Sometimes I want to burst out and cry
my heart to the fullest. I guess my emotions can really explode when it's too much and
overflowing that I couldn't handle nor keep it anymore. It is not always that I
am okay because sometimes I'm not really okay. I guess God is teaching me to
be strong amidst all things that He will give, and reveal to me. He is
preparing me for greater things and that He has to give me a bend to see how I
can manage and overcome things like this.
God told me it's ok to cry. It's ok to be
weak. It's ok to be down. It's ok if it happens sometimes but not all the time (if possible). For
a while my world stopped and I acknowledged my weakness, fears, struggles,
failures and insecurities. I became aware of the emotional baggage that I was
carrying and the challenges that I am facing. God said I should leave those
behind and stop carrying them. Lord I surrender all these unwanted emotions
that I kept for so long and I lift this up to you. I know Lord with your grace
I am being cleansed, forgiven and healed. Lord I will do my best to be faithful
to the promise that I made to you and that I will be fruitful. I know that when
I'm down then you will raise me up. Thank you for your unending love and
blessings. Lord I surrender. In Jesus' mighty name, I claim victory over
defeat, Amen.

Mission never ends
"A mission never ends in defeat."
It is always my desire to serve God
and to go beyond borders. Since it's the first month of the year I want to
dedicate and even challenge myself to go to where the Lord leads me. I have
friends in Fujairah and I have been wanting to
go there since I want to see and help
them with the best of my abilities. I was suppose to go there for Kuya Marvin
and Ate's wedding but unfortunately I didn't make it. Since next week (Jan. 25)
would be the graduation of there mini CLP I want to visit and perhaps serve
there as well.
I have met them before during the YFC
National Assembly last November 2011. We then met again during the MEC last
November 2012. God is good because He reunited me with them. Actually I get to
be with the delegates from FUJ and DIBBA during ACYC at Abu Dhabi last November 17-19, 2012. Amazing
huh?
One thing I learned from a missionary
kuya was you have to give. I learned that I need to invest and offer whatever
it is that I possess so that I may bring glory to the Lord...
Lord do you want me to go to FUJ?
(written last January 19)
I prayed for an answer to that
question. I posted that or I mean I wrote that last Saturday (Jan 19). A few
days later I was having doubts yet I still prayed and asked God's guidance. I
thought I was going even if I was not so sure. I was hoping for a positive and
last minute response of Yes because that was what I would always do.
Hours before the First fruits activity I
messaged somebody about my decision because I am not sure but still give a
hopeful response that I might go. Unfortunately I decided not to go because of
financial constraints and because of a meeting after the activity for our 1st
anniversary. I have 1 more week before the salary release and to tell you
frankly I am really struggling with it. It's hard to manage your finances when
you don't have much. Even if I have little with me still I can say that I am
blessed and I am grateful because I still have. I have to think about my
expenses for the week because I need to work and support myself. I had to give
up the mission that I really desired. I felt sorry and disappointed but I have
no choice but to choose what I think is right for me.
I thought the mission I started was
over but I guess God has ways in making us realize that a mission never ends
with defeat because it always wins. I may have been defeated because I allowed
worries and fear to dominate me but God has a greater purpose in mind why these
things need to happen.
After the first fruits activity we had
our planning and meeting for the first and awaited anniversary of our batch,
the batch 43. We were about like 20-30 something and we talked about what’s
going to happen. So it has been decided that we will celebrate the anniversary
on April 26 instead of 27 because it's a Saturday and the majority decided to
make it a Friday for everybody's availability. So we assigned committee heads
so that the tasks will be distributed and would be easier to work on.
Surprisingly the Lord gave me another task even greater than I thought it was
if I left for FUJ.
He gave me a committee to serve Him through documentation.
He made me a COMHEAD together with Pol as my partner. BOOOM! I am quite excited
though nervous since it's gonna be my first time to serve and I'm looking forward
to serve Him better than before. I am happy and privileged to be given this
opportunity. They choose me and I couldn't say no so I said Yes. I know I can
handle this because I am matured enough, mission ready and God believes I can.
Yehey! God is good and amazing.

A responsibility to BLESS
January
30, 2013
I heard from one of my leaders before
that: "Our job is to plant seeds of Christ in the hearts of His people.
Our task is to spread the seeds of truth, love, faith and forgiveness through
evangelization and bringing them back to God. Then it is our God who will nourish, fertilize and cultivate
it in order to grow."
"May the seed that we planted
on you will sprout and grow to become what God intended you to be. May you be
evangelized by the word of God through us being His instrument in this mission.
I pray that you will also continue to share what we have imparted and to bear
fruit."
I am thankful because God allowed
me to grow and bear fruit. He planted a seed in me that continually grow to
long and seek for His presence with unending love, forgiveness and grace. Level
up Lord. Thank you!!! It has been almost 8 years since I started in YFC and now
blessed to be an SFC.
