The Beloved Daughter

I am Sarah, born on January 3, 1989. I just turned 24 (2013), 25 (2014), 26 (2015) 27 (2016), 28 (2017) years old this year. I'm a proud Filipina who's born and raised in Roxas City, Capiz, Philippines. I lived in the famous Seafood capital of the country so therefore I am a proud bisaya/visaya! I am the second child among the 5. My life once revolved in the house, family, school and the church. I know deep in my heart that something was missing. I tried to discover what it was.

After graduating from CNHS, I took up Bachelor of Science in Nursing in SACH. My life changed when I entered the CFC Youth for Christ camp last July 2005 and my life was never the same. I said YES to God and He has revealed a lot of His plans for me. I became active in the community although I have ups and downs but still I managed to stay and continue my journey. 4 years later I graduated with awards unexpectedly thanks to the grace of God. I also was blessed to passed the NLE and I never regretted my decision to pursue the desire of my heart which was to serve God through the community and in my province. "My profession is a nurse but my occupation is a missionary."

I continued serving God despite the hindrances I face - distance, work, finances and other things. Finally I decided to go out of my comfort zone with a mission in my mind. I left the country last October 7,2011 and arrived in Dubai. My first job was an assistant teacher in a nursery and I loved taking care of kids. I learned a lot but I had to leave since I was not happy. 5 months later, I found a job thanks to God's grace. Things are fine and I am currently working as a Secretary/Admin in an oil equipment trading company. I am so blessed beyond measure because I am God's dearly beloved and His favorite. No words or praises can express how grateful I am being a witness of God's immense love and greatness. I have gone through a lot and I have survived the storms in my life.

Still I am no longer single (2015), I was blessed and waiting because God gave for my 5G God's greatest and gorgeous gift named George. I am an active member of CFC Singles for Christ, a CFC Kids for Christ KCOM volunteer and coordinator and Yes I am proud of it. I am not perfect and I have weird emotions. Sometimes I am bipolar or maybe that's how hormones affect me. I am happy yet somehow a part of me yearns to be complete (well I am happy and contented now -2016 2017). I know in due time, God will make things/situations clear to me. I believe He wants me to be still and patient knowing He is God and He is in control. Lord may your will be done.

BLOG PROJECT: "BLESSINGS IN A JAR"
Why blessings in a jar? Because we have to be reminded to be joyful, prayerful and grateful for all the things we receive from God. Also, we have to share and not keep it only to ourselves. A blessing serves its purpose when it is shared and thus it multiplies by benefiting other people too. And by doing so, God is glorified more which He deserves most!

This blog is a reminder of how lucky I am serving God in many ways. This blog serves as my diary of special and important events. This blog speaks not only about my life but of how I perceive situations and go through them. This blog is a project that I want to share to the whole wide world and boldly declare my God who is my life. This blog aims to share how blessed I am and that I want to become a blessing to others too. This blog was inspired from the SFC Middle East Conference last 2012 which was I am Blessed or BLESSED. You may be wondering that the address of this blog is iamblessed2bless.blogspot.com which speaks for itself.

This blog was launched last January 1, 2013. I can't promise that I can frequently update this but I'm really trying to do it. This project has it's ups and downs that sometimes it can be in or out. The content stated here is from my own perspective. You may comment as you like or message me for clarifications and suggestions.

So here I am, God's beloved princess. Thank you for your time. God bless you! :)
